Excitement is building as Disney On Ice prepares to once again enchant audiences across South Africa in 2026. The magical showcase will glide into the cities of Pretoria, Cape Town, and Durban, featuring spectacular special effects, cutting-edge technology, breathtaking performances, dazzling costumes, and all your favourite Disney characters and beloved stories. This much-anticipated event is produced by Feld Entertainment Inc, and brought to local audiences by Showtime Management.
The enchanting journey begins at the SunBet Arena in Time Square, Pretoria, on Sunday, 28 June 2026, running until Sunday, 05 July 2026. After Pretoria, the show will whisk its way to GrandWest, Cape Town, from Saturday, 11 July to Sunday, 19 July, before concluding its South African tour at the International Convention Centre Arena in Durban from Friday, 24 July to Sunday, 26 July 2026.
The thrilling new production, Disney On Ice presents Mickey’s Search Party, invites audiences on an extraordinary adventure filled with world-class skating, high-flying acrobatics, and unexpected stunts. Families will follow Mickey Mouse and his friends as they embark on a quest to rescue Tinker Bell from the clutches of Captain Hook, navigating through immersive and stunning worlds.
As the search party ventures forth, they’ll explore the vibrant spirit realm of *Coco*, where Miguel guides them into a cultural celebration of family, complete with skeletons dancing atop sway poles. In a dazzling display of light and sound, audiences will be transported to Arendelle, where they can join Elsa in song while she works to build her enchanting ice palace amidst a kaleidoscope of projections.
The adventure continues in the skies with Belle as the enchanted chandelier takes flight, while Buzz Lightyear, Woody, and Jessie band together for a daring rescue in Andy's room, showcasing the power of teamwork. The show is a comedic delight as hilarious pirates flip and tumble to impress Captain Hook, while Moana bravely sets sail on her perilous journey across the ocean to confront an ominous foe.
