Megan Thee Stallion is wrapping up her Broadway moment sooner than expected.

The rapper, who plays Harold Zidler in "Moulin Rouge! The Musical", has moved her final performance date forward to May 1.

This cuts short her run at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre, which was originally scheduled to end on May 17. She is therefore bowing out just over two weeks ahead of schedule.

Taking to Instagram, Stallion shared the update with fans.

“Hotties, my last performance as Zidler in @moulinrougebway will be May 1. It’s been such an honour to be part of thee 'Moulin Rouge' family, and I’ve met so many amazing people in this theatre!

"Y’all work so hard, and I have so much respect for the dedication, the stamina, the work ethic, the time and the effort y’all put into the work! I’m so grateful for the cast and crew that made this experience so meaningful.

"And to all the Hotties that showed up or planned to attend, thank you for supporting me during this incredible journey! I LOVE YALL See you soon 💙.”

Her time on Broadway made headlines from the start. Not only was it her first major theatre role, but she also made history as the first woman to take on the character of Zidler, a role traditionally played by men.

Behind the scenes, the run hasn’t been entirely smooth for Stallion. The 31-year-old rapper previously missed shows after being hospitalised at the end of March, later revealing that she had been pushing herself too hard.

Doctors reportedly linked it to exhaustion, dehydration and low metabolic levels.

She did return to the stage shortly after, promising fans she would come back stronger, but it’s clear the demanding schedule has taken its toll.

The early exit also comes days after she confirmed her split from NBA player Klay Thompson

“I’ve made the decision to end my relationship with Klay. Trust, fidelity and respect are non-negotiable for me in a relationship, and when those values are compromised, there’s no real path forward,” she told TMZ.

She added that she’s choosing to focus on herself and move forward with “peace and clarity”. Prior to that, she shared a now-deleted vague post about her relationship with the NBA player on her Instagram story.

“Cheating, had me around your whole family playing house...got "cold feet". Holding you down through all your HORRIBLE mood swings and treatment towards me during your basketball season, now you don't know if you can be ‘monogamous’???? b**** I need a REAL break after this one …bye yall,” she wrote.

Stallion and Thompson reportedly started dating in July 2025. They soft-launched their relationship after fans spotted the NBA star in the background of her vacation pictures. They then made it official, making their red carpet debut at her charity gala that same month.
