"I’m finally doing it!!! 6 years later!šŸ¤šŸ™šŸ¾āœØ Started DJ’ing in 2019 #DjGrizi and had this overwhelming feeling of stepping into the scene, but I kept pushing it back, and I’m so glad to be finally embracing it completely," he wrote.

Ndlovu isn’t just returning to play gigs. He is building a whole platform to elevate the culture.

Alongside his return to the decks, he announced a brand-new series dropping on his YouTube channel designed to spotlight the next generation of musical talent.

"Dropping this Friday on my YouTube channel is the first episode of ā€œBREEZE Sessionsā€ which is something I’m growing that will feature up and coming artists/DJs within the House/Amapiano/Afrobeats/3-Step/Gqom genres!šŸ”„Go ahead and subscribe to my channel as I kick start this new journey which I felt was overdue but God’s timing is perfectšŸ™šŸ¾šŸ¤©Also, stream my track😜 I’m outside!!"

From global dance floors to the decks

For those in the know, Ndlovu’s transition into DJing is a natural evolution.

Before he ever touched a set of decks, Ndlovu spent 3 years in the US training in hip hop choreography at Los Angeles' Flii’Cademy under world-renowned choreographers.

His deep connection to South African dance music was famously highlighted when he starred as the lead dancer and actor in the cinematic music video for Black Coffee's global hit "Wish You Were Here".

Understanding timing, beats, and crowd energy as a professional dancer naturally laid the groundwork for his transition into the DJ booth.

By stepping back into the booth, Ndlovu is cashing in on years of built-up star power, combining his international dance background with a mature brand.

Naturally, the comment section went into absolute meltdown, with fans and industry peers cheering on his relentless drive.

"Ashuuuuu can't wait to rock there and play gqom," commented DJ Gaylord.
