American singer Kelly Rowland has been praised online after stopping her performance to help a fan who appeared to faint during a music festival in Chicago.
The incident took place during the Forever Mine Music Festival, where Rowland was performing Destiny’s Child’s cover of the hit song "Emotion".
A video shared on social media captured the moment the singer noticed a festivalgoer in distress while she was on stage.
During the performance, Rowland immediately paused to check on the fan and called for assistance from event staff.
“Are you okay honey? Are you sure my love? Can we bring him to the front so that we make sure that he is okay? Can we get some water? I need you to be okay so come to the front baby,” said Rowland while on stage.
Moments later, the festivalgoer fainted, prompting the singer to stop the music entirely and call for urgent help.
Rowland also requested that production cut the sound as staff rushed to assist the fan after he fell to the ground.
The singer appeared visibly concerned as the situation unfolded, with many social media users praising her calm and compassionate response.
